A man is convicted of murdering his wife and is looking at a long stretch in Shawshank prison. Redemption is a long way off for Andy Dufresne; can it be reached? Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman are superb in this gripping story of bravery, betrayal and friendship. The film will have you both laughing and crying as it meanders through to a stunning finish.
